SpaceX was gearing up for another Starlink mission on Wednesday afternoon; however, weather conditions have put the launch on hold.SpaceX was expected to launch 21 Starlink satellites — including 13 with direct-to-cell capabilities — aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral just after noon, but say weather conditions were unfavorable in the booster recovery area.The launch is now set for Thursday at 8:35 a.m.The first-stage booster supporting this mission is on its 15th flight, which includes eight previous Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the booster is set to land on a drone ship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean — where the weather was bad.WESH 2 will stream the launch in the player above when it happens.While this Starlink mission is just carrying satellites, it will come a day before SpaceX is expected to launch its crewed Polaris Dawn mission. On Friday, four civilian astronauts are expected to take off from Central Florida and travel to extreme orbital altitudes. There, they'll conduct multiple experiments and complete the first-ever private spacewalk. >> : Everything to know about SpaceX's crewed flight launching from Central Florida This Starlink mission will also come shortly after SpaceX's Falcon 9 rockets, like the ones supporting Thursday's launch and Friday's launch, were grounded due to a Federal Aviation Administration investigation. Last week, SpaceX successfully launched and deployed Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral, but the first-stage booster had a rocky return. On Saturday, SpaceX launched a Starlink mission with no technical difficulties or mishaps.
