Published: Sep. 15, 2024 at 3:46 PM EDT |Updated: 21 hours ago FAIRFIELD, CT (WFSB) - A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Fairfield Sunday morning. Police say that at around 11:37 A.M., units responded to the intersection of New England Avenue and Kings Highway Cutoff for a crash involving a pedestrian. The victim was trying to cross the road when the incident happened. They were transported to the hospital, where they are listed in critical but stable condition. The Kings Highway Cutoff was shut down for an investigation, but has since reopened. An investigation is active.
