Infamous Chechen warlord has accused Elon Musk of remotely disabling his new Cybertruck.
Ramzan Kadyrov previously claimed the Tesla CEO had gifted him the Cybertruck, something Musk denies.
Kadyrov equipped the Cybertruck with a bed-mounted machine gun and praised its agility and toughness before it being remotely disabled.
A Chechen warlord who previously claimed Elon Musk had gifted him a Cybertruck is now accusing the Tesla CEO of remotely disabling it while it was involved in the Russian battle against Ukraine.
“Elon Musk behaved badly,” Ramzan Kadyrov, president of Chechnya, a Russian republic, wrote on Telegram. “He gives expensive gifts from the heart and then remotely disconnects them.” — Michael De La Broc (@MDeLaBroc1) September 20, 2024
This latest bit of bizarre Cybertruck news comes a month after Kadyrov first showed off his Cybertruck and made the wild claims that Musk had given him the electric truck for free. Musk was quick to call BS on the allegation and roasted a journalist who asked him about Kadyrov’s story.
“Are you seriously so retarded that you think I gave a Cybertruck to a Russian general? This is amazing,” Musk wrote on X.
Tesla has launched many varied Cybertruck options since deliveries of the truck started last winter, including a tent and bed-mounted add-on battery to extend the range. But a machine gun is still missing from the options list.
I'm confused. @WestPoint_USMA just had @ElonMusk as its convocation speaker, when Musk is providing vehicles ready for military use to sanctioned enemies of America? Why isn't this the biggest story in America today? Why is West Point coddling a man working openly against the US? https://t.co/JBGaMCWvrN
