Footage of Chechnya rebels using Tesla cybertrucks have emerged recently, with the international community blaming Elon Musk for supplying these state-of-the-art equipment to rebel forces like the Chechens. Here's how things can easily turn into a catastrophe.
Tesla Cybertrucks are being enlisted in the Ukraine war, with Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov posting footage on Telegram showing two Cybertrucks armed with Soviet-era DShK 12.7 x 108 mm heavy machine guns. These vehicles are supporting Russian forces in their ongoing invasion, with soldiers operating the weapons from the beds of the trucks. Kadyrov praised the vehicles for their "mobility, convenience, maneuverability," highlighting the advantages of electric vehicles in unconventional warfare.

This follows an earlier video of a Cybertruck outfitted with a Kord 12.7 x 108 mm machine gun, which Tesla CEO Elon Musk reportedly disabled remotely. Kadyrov criticized Musk, saying, "This is not manly," on Telegram. While outfitting civilian vehicles with weapons, known as "technicals," is nothing new, the use of a high-tech electric truck adds a modern twist to this tactic. Kadryov claiming that Musk had supplied him the equipment was vehemently denied by the X founder, however.
