NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Barry 'Butch' Wilmore are preparing to address the public on September 13. It will be their first interaction since the unexpected return of the Boeing Starliner spacecraft without its crew.
NASA has planned a news conference on September 13 at 11:45 pm IS and Williams and Wilmore will connect from the International Space Station (ISS) where they have been living since June 2024. You can watch the conference at NASA's official X profile, YouTube, NASA TV, NASA app and its website.

Originally, the astronauts launched aboard Boeing's Starliner on June 5, 2024, marking the spacecraft's first crewed flight. The Starliner successfully docked with the ISS, but due to technical issues, NASA made the decision to send the spacecraft back to Earth without the astronauts.
