A 10 to 80 per cent DC fast charge time of 20 minutes is claimed for both variants, at a peak of 215kW for the Standard Range, and 280kW for the Long Range.
Both G6 variants are highly equipped, with adaptive LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels, a 15-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 10.2-inch instrument display.
Standard across the range are heated and ventilated front seats, synthetic leather-look seat trim, a panoramic glass roof, dual-zone climate control, an 18-speaker sound system, and a full list of advanced safety technology.
The 2025 XPeng G6 is due to commence deliveries next month. Customers who order by 11:59 pm on 31 October 2024 will receive a free home charging unit.
XPeng's first showroom will open near Sydney Airport, with further locations to come around the country.
