A SpaceX Crew Dragon space capsule, set to return astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams next year, successfully docked at the International Space Station (ISS) on Sunday. NASA confirmed the docking at 2130 GMT, shortly after NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov boarded the ISS.
In other news, researchers have uncovered the fossilized remains of three mastodons from the Ice Age in the Peruvian Andes. The remains, estimated to be 11,000 to 12,000 years old, were found in the Chambara valley, about 300 km east of Lima.
These discoveries raise questions about the historical migration patterns of these Ice Age behemoths, providing new insights into prehistoric life in the region.
