But there is one feature of many Tesla models which the Cybertruck did not have. This is despite it being one of Elon Musk's company's most well-known features in its electric vehicles. The update has come almost a year after the Cybertruck was initially released back in November 2023. Its distinctive design set it apart from the other Tesla models, the Model Y, S, 3, and X, which all have a more conventional look. But now it looks like the much talked about Tesla feature has finally come to the Cybertruck. Advert Tesla vehicles are famous for their self-driving capability which sees them able to park and drive themselves. It uses a series of sensors to detect any upcoming obstacles, as well as the car's computer software, to guide it on a journey. And yes, this even includes guiding the vehicle around corners and in traffic, which sounds both very impressive and unnerving. The FSD feature is the highest level of self-driving in the car, and ostensibly means that you don't even have to touch the wheel. Advert That must be a nail-biting experience when you're trundling along at 70mph for the first time. The feature appears to be in 'early access', as it seems it's only available to some Cybertruck owners who've purchased it. Many have since taken to social media to share their thoughts on the upgrade. Another added: "Waited hella years for the Cybertruck, and now with FSD updated, it’s like getting a brand-new ride all over again!" A third posted: "Cybertruck FSD update came through tonight!! Went out and tested it out and it is awesome!" However, it appears not everyone is as impressed with the feature. One driver commented: "Cybertruck lane departure avoidance is way too sensitive. It was already messed up before, but got noticeably worse after FSD update." While someone else penned: "I’ve owned a 2016 Model X for nearly nine years, and it’s hard to believe any form of FSD is even operational."
