Cam Butcher is a Tesla Cybertruck owner from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Cam purchased his Cybertruck back in May.
Since then, he has been a huge fan of the all-electric truck. Despite eight separate service visits failing to solve the issue with his Cybertruck, Cam says he still absolutely loves it.
Cam’s enduring love for his Cybertruck is certainly surprising. However, after so many failed attempts to fix his truck, it appears that he’s reaching his wits' end.
A few hours ago, following months of frustration, Cam finally decided to go public with his Tesla Criticism.
Here is what he wrote…
“After eight service visits in the last five months, Tesla Service has yet to solve the issues I’m having with my Cybertruck. Every time I pick it up from Service, the issues are still there.
I have to say that I have been extremely disappointed with Tesla Service lately. Not to mention how much time my truck has spent away from me in service while I am paying every month for it.”
Below his post, Cam included a screenshot from his Tesla app showing he had eight separate visits to a Tesla service center.
Cam’s service woes began at the end of May, and since then, he has had two service visits in June, two service visits in August, one mobile service visit in September, and two more service center visits in the same month.

Over the past few months, Cybertruck owners who have dealt with myriad of issues have soured on the all-electric truck in particular and Tesla as a brand in general.
However, in Cam’s case, he appears to be in a dysfunctional relationship and says, “I absolutely love my truck, but I hate the present issues and just wish they would get fixed already!”
Cam’s profile shows that he is a huge Tesla and Cybertruck fan. The pinned post on his X account reads, “Cybertruck is the best decision I’ve ever made! There is literally nothing like it!” Cam also includes several beautiful pictures of his Cybertruck below.
However, this post was made on August 15. At that point, Cam was only on his fifth service visit to solve the issue with his Cybertruck. Since then, he has had three more service visits and appears to be getting frustrated with Tesla.
At this point, although Cam has yet to renounce his love for his Cybertruck, it’s doubtful that he still feels like the Cybertruck is the best decision he has ever made.
Overall, in Cam’s case, it’s disappointing to see Tesla frustrate a customer and a huge fan so much that he’s turning against the company.
As of writing, the issue with Cam’s Cybertruck appears to still be persisting; however, we’ll be sure to keep you posted if there is an update on the story.
