How does car leasing work?
A car lease is similar to a long-term rental. You pay for the car monthly and hand it back at the end of your contract, meaning you’re free to choose a new lease deal. You can find out more about how car leasing works with our in-depth leasing guides.
How do I lease a car online with Auto Trader?
Applying for a Tesla lease online with Autotrader is easy. Choose your perfect car, select how much annual mileage you’ll need, the size of your initial rental payment, and how long you’ll need the car. You’ll then fill out a quick online form with your personal details and our team will perform a credit check to confirm your eligibility. If approved, we’ll reach out to organise the delivery of your new lease car. It’s as easy as that!
How do I pay for my car lease?
An initial rental payment will be taken from your bank account roughly 10 days after your car's delivery. After your initial rental payment, monthly rentals will be debited from your account on the same date every month throughout your lease.
How will my new lease car be delivered to me?
Your new lease car will be delivered for free anywhere within the mainland UK, right to your preferred location. If it’s delivered by a driver, any mileage will be checked upon arrival, and will not be included in your contracted annual mileage.
What’s included with my car lease?
All of our car lease contracts include a manufacturer's warranty, road tax, and free mainland UK delivery and collection when your lease period ends. You’ll also pay no admin fees.
What’s not included with my car lease?
Most leasing contracts do not include insurance and will require you to have comprehensive cover. You can get a car insurance quote with Auto Trader and find the best prices available for your car lease.
