The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced its approval for the SpaceX Falcon 9 to return to flight, following an intensive investigation into a recent mishap.
The incident, which took place on September 28, led SpaceX to probe the malfunction of Falcon 9's second stage shortly after a NASA astronaut mission.
This marks the third grounding of the launch vehicle in as many months, but after presenting its findings and corrective measures, SpaceX has been given the green light by the FAA.
