TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Toledo police say a pedestrian was hit and killed by a train in Toledo early Thursday morning.
Police responded to the scene shortly after midnight at the tracks near the dead end of N. Michigan Avenue, near Albany Street.
Police confirmed a train struck a 55-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers say further identification of the victim will come from the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.
