The Kansas Jayhawks are leaving Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Super Bowl LVIII champion Kansas City Chiefs, with a win for the first time this season after beating the Houston Cougars 42-14 on Saturday.
Despite a rough start to their 2024 campaign for the Jayhawks and head coach Lance Leipold, Kansas will be able to hold their head up high after securing their first victory since Week 1.
With the help of quarterback Jalon Daniels, as well as a record-setting game by defensive back Cobee Bryant, the Jayhawks rolled the Cougars, showing signs of an offensive spark that has been lacking this season.
