LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - As her impressive high school career nears its end, Faith Venable makes her mark in Lincoln Pius X volleyball history. Venable recently broke the school’s single-match kills record with a 36-kill effort at Omaha Westside. Venable said she was unaware of the record until after the match.
“That was just surreal,” Venable said. “I really didn’t expect that until I got off the court and people told me. I was surprised. I give credit to my setter and my passers.”
Faith Venable gets her 36th kill (new school record!) and the match point as the Bolts beat Westside 3-1! Awesome game Bolts⚡️ pic.twitter.com/eNJsEHjtxW
