The Arizona State Sun Devils traveled to Durham, North Carolina, on Sunday for an exhibition game against the No. 2 Duke Blue Devils, where they were demolished 103-47 in a less-than-ideal preview to the program's upcoming college basketball season.
Thankfully for the Sun Devils, the game won't count toward their record. The contest was organized as part of a fundraising effort benefitting Duke Children's Hospital.
However, that didn't stop head coach Bobby Hurley, a national champion player for Duke in 1991 and 1992, from unloading on his players' performance in his postgame news conference.
Bobby Hurley had a few interesting comments following ASU's 103-47 loss to Duke:
"It was a trainwreck ... S**t, my granddaughter is never going to remember this game, she's 3 months old, thank god ... It was great seeing Grant Hill, wish he had some eligibility."@DevilsDigest pic.twitter.com/Nn40YGkRcM
