A recent discussion in a public Cybertruck owners' group on Facebook brought to light the ongoing quest for a compatible CCS (Combined Charging System) adapter, revealing both the technical challenges and community enthusiasm surrounding this issue.
This Cybertruck used a CCS adapter on his Cybertruck and achieved greater than 350 kW charging, sparking many to ask where he got it.
The conversation kicked off with Vadim V Vostrikov requesting a link for a specific adapter, to which Pedro Ferrer, the thread's initiator, humorously admitted not remembering the exact link, hoping for community input.
This exchange set the stage for a dialogue filled with curiosity, advice, and shared experiences.
Pedro Ferrer shared his experience with a high-speed charge, mentioning:
"I didn't stay long enough to see. I just needed a few miles to get home comfortably. I was pulling a trailer and the Tesla SC's were pretty full so went around the corner and these new Mercedes branded ChargePoint chargers were completely empty, and I was able to pull in parallel and took up a bunch of spots, so left after 6 minutes. Went from 10% to 39% in that timeframe."
This anecdote underscored the practical use of CCS charging for Cybertruck owners, highlighting the convenience of non-Tesla networks when Tesla's own superchargers are occupied.

So far, nobody knows which CCS adapter is right for the Cybertruck. Tesla's currently does not work and Tesla clearly states this.
