Incumbent Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown has cast his ballot Tuesday in Cleveland.Brown is looking to remain in Congress and fend off a challenge from Republican Bernie Moreno.In the final poll of the race by Emerson College, released on Monday, Brown trailed Moreno by three points, with a margin of error of 3.2 points.According to the poll, 48% of likely Ohio voters backed Moreno and 45% backed Brown. 6% remained undecided.The poll spoke included 900 likely voters with a split of 38% Republican, 31% Democrat and 29% independent.According to Emerson College polling, Brown leads in early voting, 52% to 48%, but among those planning to vote in person, Moreno holds an edge, 48% to 43%.
