When it comes to celebrity endorsements this campaign season, the grapplers are squaring off in a battle royal for presidential supremacy. Wrestling personalities have been lining up this fall in support of either Republican Donald Trump or Kamala Harris. Led by Hulk Hogan’s fiery speech at this year’s Republican National Convention, a group of mostly retired wrestlers have stepped out with a rash of endorsements. The Undertaker, a 2022 WWE Hall of Famer, was long managed in the WWE by the late Mobile native William Moody, who was known by wrestling fans as Paul Bearer. (Mary Colurso | mcolurso@AL.com) Mick Foley: Kamala Harris After The Undertaker’s podcast, his former rival during the late 90s in WWE -- Mick Foley, who went by several different personalities like Mankind, Cactus Jack and Dude Love -- said in an Instagram post there was “nothing fun” about Trump’s politics. “The Undertaker is correct when he said Donald Trump made politics fun again … for about three weeks in 2016,” Foley, a 2013 WWE Hall of Famer, said. “But it’s eight years later and there’s absolutely nothing fun about this man.” Foley, 59, a best-selling author during his wrestling days, endorsed Harris during an appearance on CNN in which he said that “real men respect strong women” and do not fear them. He also said that despite political differences, he remains friends with The Undertaker.
