Santa Rosa police arrested a 19-year-old man Wednesday on suspicion of drunk driving after he crashed into four vehicles parked at a soccer practice, injuring one person, officials said.
Officers responded about 4:45 p.m. to a multivehicle collision at the parking lot of A Place to Play community park, 2375 West Third St., where there were about 200 people, mostly families and children, police said in a news release.

One of the mothers suffered minor injuries to her head and shoulder. Medical personnel treated and released her at the scene.
Immediately following the collision, the driver of the Lexus, Angel Uribe, a resident of Santa Rosa, allegedly tried to flee to a nearby trail, but bystanders ran after him and physically detained him until police arrived.
Uribe was on probation for a previous DUI he was convicted of in 2023, as well as pretrial supervision for a DUI arrest Aug. 7.
He was arrested and booked into Sonoma County jail on suspicion of DUI collision causing injury; DUI collision with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, causing injury; hit-and-run collision causing injury; giving false identification information to a peace officer; driving on a license suspended for prior DUI; and violation of probation.
A Sonoma County Superior Court judge approved a higher bail due to the severity of the alleged offenses. Uribe is currently being held on $500,000 bond.
