Authorities are searching for a 48-foot vessel with a sailor on board that went missing near Pleasant Bay off the coast of Cape Cod, the US Coast Guard said Sunday. The boat, named the Alchemist, was last contacted Thursday, the Coast Guard said on X, formerly known as Twitter. The boat has a green hull and a green bimini — the canopy that covers the vessel. Anyone with information about the missing vessel can call 866-842-1560, the Coast Guard said.
