Fact Check: Musk has been spending a lot of time at Mar-a-Lago since the election and played a significant role in President-elect Donald Trump’s staffing decisions since Trump won the election last week, ABC News reported. Musk also appeared in Trump’s family photo on election night and golfed with the family over the weekend, the outlet reported. An X post appears to show an image of Musk with a protruding stomach. The image shows him standing with his hands at his sides while another image shared show him wrapped in an American flag. “He always posts AI pictures of himself because he actually looks like this,” the caption reads. This image has been digitally altered, however. The unedited photo can be found at around the 2:26 timestamp of a YouTube video from June in which Musk does an interview with a YouTuber and shows him around a SpaceX facility. Musk looks noticeably smaller here compared to the X image.
