> Science SpaceX will launch Starship rocket 25 times next year. According to Kathy Leuders, general manager of SpaceX's Boca Chica operations, Elon Musk wants to launch the mega rocket at a rapid pace in 2025 and eventually accelerate to two launches per day. "Elon would say, next year he would love to have us have 25 missions a year and in the next few years, a hundred. He was telling me, ‘Kathy, I would love to launch a couple of times a day," Leuders said during the Mexico Space Agency’s National Congress of Space Activities conference, per Gizmodo. ALSO SEE: Elon Musk Shows Starship's Evolution In Before And After Video 5 Years Apart Earlier in September, he lashed out at the agency after it fined SpaceX $6,33,009 or Rs 5.28 crore over safety violations which according to SpaceX never happened. Last month, he also shared stories of over-regulation and how SpaceX was made to conduct surveys for safety of sharks and whales if part of Starship falls into the ocean. With Musk now in-charge of the Department of Government Efficiency or DOGE, he might make big changes in the rules that will ultimately lift restrictions on SpaceX. One of the goals of DOGE is to slash regulations apart from dismantling bureaucracy and reducing government spending. SpaceX had released a statement in September on how it was "stuck in a reality where it takes longer to do the government paperwork to license a rocket launch than it does to design and build the actual hardware." Musk had set a goal of launching Starship six times this year alone but only managed to carry out three until now with fourth scheduled for this week.
