PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Police say a man was speeding and slammed into the back of a semi-truck, killing himself and his passenger on a west Phoenix road during rush hour on Tuesday morning.
Police said 28-year-old Aaron Soto was driving too fast while heading northwest on Grand Avenue when he hit the back of a semi-truck making a left onto 33rd Avenue from southeast Grand Avenue just after 7 a.m.
A serious crash involving a sedan and a semi-truck shut down a portion of a busy Phoenix roadway Tuesday morning.
