Fast-moving showers have swept across the Space Coast from east to west throughout the day. A coastal surface trough developed along Florida's East Coast, accompanied by increased moisture fromthe Southeast, the squadron's forecast said. "This will bring scattered onshore moving showers throughout the afternoon and evening hours. Theseshowers introduce the main concern of the Cumulus Cloud Rule if they were to move through the flight path," the forecast said.
