Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill said a Tesla Cybertruck rented in Colorado arrived in Las Vegas about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. Livelsberger drove up and down Las Vegas Boulevard before pulling in front of the Trump hotel about 8:40 a.m. Video showed the Cybertruck sitting outside the hotel for about 15 seconds, McMahill said, before it exploded. Gasoline canisters, camp fuel canisters and large firework mortars were found in the back of the vehicle. Livelsberger was the only fatality. Seven other people were injured.
