I am concerned we may have allowed the mythical Trojan horse into the center of our national security infrastructure by outsourcing our rocket launch capacity to SpaceX and too much of our satellite capacity to Starlink.
These companies are private concerns controlled by Elon Musk. What is to prevent him from offering these capabilities to the highest bidder? Do we really know where his loyalty lies?
Our leaders express national security concerns over a Japanese companyâs bid to buy U.S. Steel, yet they seem unconcerned about outsourcing national priorities to SpaceX and Starlink. Beware the Trojan horse!
