PHOTO: Tesla After rumors, spy shots, and leaks, the facelifted Tesla Model Y has been officially launched, and orders are now open in the Philippines with prices starting at P2,369,000 for the RWD version. Deliveries are scheduled to arrive in April of this year. Meanwhile, the first batch of Tesla orders placed during its launch last November 2024 should be arriving this month. OTHER STORIES YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED: PHOTO BY Tesla The entire body of the Tesla Model Y has been redesigned for this facelift, with the key differences lying in the headlight and tailight design. As with a lot of new EV and cars, Tesla has gone with light bars around the front and back of the new Model Y. Although the Model Y’s light bars look thicker and more rectangular than what you find on a BYD Atto 3, for example. The wheels and tires of the Model Y have also been redesigned to be more quiet and smoother when on the road. EVs in general are already silent, and so the Model Y’s new drive should make for an interesting ASMR test. The cabin has also been outfitted with improved acoustic glass to make the riding experience even more quiet.
