Tesla has issued its first recall of the new year, and drivers in Arizona may be affected.
The Jan. 6 recall was issued for nearly 240,000 vehicles impacted by a faulty rearview camera that causes visibility issues.
The announcement came after Tesla was named the most recalled car brand of 2024, according to the car news website Carscoops.
The issue is the computer circuit board's tendency to short, resulting in the loss of the rearview camera image in certain 2024 to 2025 Tesla models, according to the recall notice.
Model 3, Model S, 2023-2025 Model X, and 2023-2025 Model Y vehicles were recalled.
The notice said Tesla released a free, over-the-air software update and will also replace the affected computers of any vehicles that experienced a circuit board failure or stress that may lead to a circuit board failure.
