Finally, Aston Martin has announced a voluntary safety recall for 1,452 different cars for a similar software fault that could reduce the driver's visibility on the roads.
Another fault filed to the NHTSA, the premium car brand warned that the reversing camera could be blocked if a driver selects reverse gear too quickly, with 2024 and 2025 examples of the DB12, DBX707, and Vantage affected.
The recall does not yet affect examples in the UK, but drivers can easily check for outstanding faults that may be present on their vehicle by using the Aston Martin website.

Whilst a large-scale vehicle recall may sound scary, it is easy for drivers to check if their car risks developing a certain fault by checking the VIN.
This 17-digit code is usually located in one of the bottom corners of the windscreen and can be used to reveal a number of facts about the vehicle, such as where it was built, the model year, and even what equipment it was fitted with.
Almost all car companies allow owners to enter the VIN in order to check whether their car is affected by a recall, with those who do not have access to the code also able to check for general recall information on the Government's website.
