The Brief
The car involved in a deadly hit-and-run in St. Pete last Friday night has been found, according to FHP.
A 37-year-old man was hit and killed while changing a tire on the shoulder of I-275.
The investigation into the hit-and-run is ongoing.
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -
The Florida Highway Patrol says the Tesla that was involved in a hit-and-run that killed a man days ago in St. Petersburg has been found in Manatee County.

What we know:
According to FHP, a 37-year-old Lakeland man was changing a tire along the shoulder on the southbound side of I-275 near 4th St. North around 8:20 p.m. last Friday when another car hit him. He later died at the hospital.

The driver took off, troopers said, and investigators later identified the car as a black 2024 Tesla Model X.
