The change, spotted by Electrek, comes after more than three years of White being the standard color for Model 3 and Y (Tesla made the switch from Black back in 2019). For Tesla's Model S and Model X, the standard color is still Pearl White Multi-Coat. The change will likely be a welcome one even for non-Tesla owners, as it's likely to introduce more variety for the Model 3 and Model Y, which are among the best-selling cars today and are very often seen in white on the roads.
