Smyrna Woman Accused of DUI and Pinning Person under Car

Kathryn Pierce, 40, of Smyrna, is accused of driving a gray 2022 Tesla Model X while under the influence of alcohol on Jan. 18 at 11:39 p.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Pierce also struck a person with the vehicle and caused the victim to be pinned under the vehicle. Pierce then failed to render aid and left the victim pinned, according to the warrant.
Pierce is charged with aggravated assault article, and DUI â less safe alcohol. She was arrested on Jan. 18 at 1 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records.
Pierce was released on a $20,000 bond on Jan. 23 at 5:02 p.m.
