PRINT Rangsons Aerospace, a division of the Mysuru-based Rangsons, will partner with Oversat, a global firm in the satellite communication industry to further cutting-edge technologies in Satcom. A release said Rangsons Aerospace and Oversat will formalise their collaboration at Aero India 2025 in Bengaluru, marking a significant step in advancing Satcom technology. This partnership focuses on developing Luneberg lens-based multibeam antennas — cutting-edge solutions designed to track multiple Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites simultaneously, addressing critical connectivity gaps in Maritime, Land Mobile, and Aero applications, the release noted. According to Rangsons, the rapid deployment of LEO satellite constellations by global players such as OneWeb, SpaceX, Telesat, Rivada, and Amazon has led to a surge in the demand for next-generation ground-based infrastructure. Rangsons Aerospace and Oversat are pioneering a solution with advanced multibeam antenna technology, enabling seamless connectivity across multiple satellites in real time. This initiative is expected to revolutionise Satcom’s capabilities for diverse sectors, including defense, aviation, and commercial enterprises, according to Rangsons, which is a diversified business conglomerate and a part of the NR Group. “As the satellite communication landscape evolves rapidly, the need for advanced, scalable ground infrastructure has never been greater.
