While returning home from a party at 3 a.m. on Thanksgiving Eve, the Cybertruck jumped a curb and slammed directly into a tree and then a retaining wall and burst into flames, according to the Piedmont Police Department. When first responders arrived on the scene, the flames were twice as high as the car itself. California Highway Patrol initially seized the Cybertruck and planned on testing it for mechanical malfunctions. The electric SUV was fully burned as a result of the accident, USA Today reported.
