In addition to danger to others on the road (with EuroNCAP crash tests do test for) there are also other, unique, CT concerns that no sane testing procedure includes because no other car in the past failed - like the ability to break the side glass and get out with standard tools to escape the car in case of fire (internal or external) or water or other dangers. Or the ability of standard rescue team tooling to rescue passengers stuck inside the truck after heavier accidents (including rollovers). If the walls and pillars are too thick to cut with "Jaws of Life" then this is another way this car becomes a death trap.
