Tesla’s ( NASDAQ: TSLA) introduction into the Saudi market comes as the country’s Vision 2030 initiative sets a goal of sourcing at least 50% of its power from renewable energy and transitioning 30% of Saudi vehicles to electric by 2030 in an effort to diversify its oil-based economy and lower emissions in the capital city.
