Downdetector has reported that it has over 25,000 users reporting issues on Downdetector as of 6:07 PM IST. The surge in complaints marked a dramatic increase compared to the platform's baseline of just nine incident reports. Server connection problems accounted for 8% of the reports. The spike began around late evening and escalated rapidly, suggesting a large-scale disruption across multiple regions. Social media complaints Many users took to other platforms to express their frustration. One user commented that they were unable to post anything and suspected a technical error on X’s part.
