Moving to the interior of the Alpine A390, you will be greeted by a portrait-oriented 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system which runs on Google’s Android Automotive OS, complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
The driver gets a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a row of buttons for gear selection, which are nestled in a centre console, similar to the Alpine A110.
According to Alpine, the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster can be configured into four different views: Iconic, Navigation, Minimal, and a specific display for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Basically, the Iconic display shows the A390’s essential information such as the speedometer and a power meter. The Navigation display, as its name suggests, shows Google Maps, whereas Minimal only shows essential features. As for the ADAS mode, the digital gauge cluster shows the A390 in its environment in augmented reality, in its body colour with animations of indicators and brake lights.
Other interior features for the Alpine A390 include Nappa leather upholstered bucket seats that are power adjustable with massaging and heating functions, a microfiber headliner, a heated Nappa leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 13-speaker Devialet sound system.
It’s available in two variants, called the GT and GTS, both featuring three electric motors. The Alpine A390 GT variant offers 401 hp (295 kW) and 650 Nm, while the more powerful GTS guise delivers 469 hp (345 kW) and 808 Nm of torque.
This translates to a 0-100 km/h time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h for the GT variant, and 3.9 seconds with a higher 220 km/h top speed for the GTS variant.
In terms of range, both variants of the Alpine A390 are equipped with an 89 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery pack, which is domestically produced in France, enabling a range between 520 km to 550 km (WLTP).
Charging is supported with 11 kW AC charging as standard but can be optionally increased to 22 kW. For DC charging, the Alpine A390 supports fast charging upwards of 190 kW.
Slated to go on sale in Q4 2025, Alpine has also announced an exclusive variant of the A390, called the Alpine A390 Première. According to Alpine, buyers of the Première variant will receive a pair of limited-edition Devialet X Alpine earbuds, which the French carmaker says, are designed to enhance the immersive audio experience of the Alpine A390.
