Tesla launched the 2025 Model S and Model X update in the U.S. with a price hike of around $5,000. Tesla announced in February that the two flagship EVs will get costlier soon. Apart from the minor design updates, the Elon Musk-led company has also improved the aerodynamics, which results in better driving range. Here are the following updates on the 2025 Model S and Model X.
Tesla Model S, Mode X: New Prices
Tesla has unveiled the new prices of the 2025 Model S and Model X. With a price bump of $5,000, the Model S Long Range is available at $84,990 and Plaid at $99,990, while the Model X Long Range is for $89,990 and the Plaid at $104,990.
Tesla Model S, Mode X: What’s new?
The Model S and the Model X now sport the all-black Tesla badging instead of the chrome finish one. Both the EVs are now available in two new colours — Frost Blue Metallic for $2,500 and Diamond Black for $1,500. According to Tesla, the newly designed alloy wheels have further enhanced the car’s driving range. Hence, the Model S has a range of 660 km on a single charge, the longest range by any Tesla vehicle. It has a top speed of 210 kmph and does 0 – 100 kmph in 3.1 seconds. It comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels that can be upsized to 21-inch ones. The Model S’ interiors are available in three colours — all black, black and white and cream.
Tesla Model X
The Model X comes standard with 20-inch alloy wheels and the customer can opt for a 22-inch set. The Model X is available in three seat configurations — a 5-seater, a 6-seater and a 7-seater.
