- - A Florida Cybertruck owner shares that his vehicle has been excellent for transporting his calf, which has figured out how to manipulate the touchscreen climate control to blow air towards itself.
The Cybertruck owner, who goes by the username Oden on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum, reports that he recently acquired a calf. And while returning to his barn, he decided to carry the calf inside the cabin rather than in the truck bed.
During his journey, Oden also had to stop at a Tractor Supply shop to pick up some supplies for his new calf.
Leaving a vehicle locked can be worrisome when transporting a small calf in the cabin, especially in the Florida heat. However, by activating Dog Mode, Oden safely left the calf inside while the HVAC system ensured a cool environment.
Happy with how comfortable the Cybertruck kept his new calf, Oden attests that “Dog Mode” can also work for transporting other animals.
Oden also adds that the foldable rear seats of the Cybertruck allowed the calf to fit in the vehicle comfortably, and the rubber floor mats were essential for easy cleaning after transporting the animal.
This was already good enough; however, Oden adds that the calf also figured out how to control the HVAC system.
The calf pressed its nose against the Cybertruck’s rear screen and managed to adjust the climate control in a way that redirected the airflow toward its body.
Observing this behavior made Oden very happy, prompting him to share his experience on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum.

“We had a new calf born that was abandoned by her mother in one of our fields a few weeks back. So, we took her from the herd and have been bottle-feeding her for the last few weeks in the barn.
My wife decided that she now needs a friend her own age, so we just picked up a Zebu cow calf today with the truck.
My intent was to put her in the back of the bed (in a large crate with straw bedding). Well…she ended up not in the crate, but in the back of the cab with the seats folded up, enjoying the A/C (the rubber floor mat was a lifesaver).
We stopped at Tractor Supply, and I put the truck into Dog mode, and I can now confirm that the cow loved it! Cow mode activated!
Oh…and she also figured out quickly that she can actually use her nose to adjust the air vents to her liking with the back touch screen display! The first picture is of her using her nose on the display.
This is why the truck is awesome: driving a cow home in the cab and then using Dog Mode to keep her cool while we shopped for new baby supplies for her. This was just not on my bingo card for today, but what a great day!"
Below his post, Oden shared multiple pictures and videos of his calf getting transported in the back of the Cybertruck.
As he mentioned, one of the pictures shows the calf pressing its nose against the Cybertruck’s 8-inch rear touchscreen, with the display showing the climate control.
This is all adorable, and fellow Cybertruck owners were happy to see the interaction between the calf and the truck.
A fellow Cybertruck owner, Yohst from San Diego, says…
“Fantastic! Now I need a cow!”
Another Cybertruck owner, Keith from Long Island, New York, says…
“That is great!”
A third Cybertruck owner from Colorado raises the stakes by stating that this is the first genuine truck work he has witnessed a Cybertruck perform.
