Tesla is going head-to-head with Waymo
Tesla's AI and Autopilot chief Ashok Elluswamy noted the car reached 116km/h on its smooth 30-minute trip.
This milestone fits into Tesla's push for more autonomous tech, including their new robotaxi service in Austin that lets people grab rides for $4.20—going head-to-head with Waymo.
The company's also seen some leadership changes recently as it keeps moving forward on self-driving innovation.
