As of now, the Model Y can be registered only in Delhi, Gurugram and Mumbai. While Tesla has started accepting bookings for the Model Y, buyers can get the EV for as low as Rs 61 lakh on the road, depending on the location. Its customer deliveries will start in Q3 2025. India's largest SUV manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra, offers electric SUVs like the XUV400, BE 6 and XEV 9e. The XUV400 is priced between Rs 15.49 lakh and Rs 17.69 lakh (ex-showroom), the BE 6 between Rs 18.90 lakh and Rs 27.65 lakh (ex-showroom) and the XEV 9e between Rs 21.90 lakh and Rs 31.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
