The new variant is a single-motor rear-wheel-drive, but it features a bigger 225 kW motor than the current RWD variant. The dimensions and weight are the same, thanks to the batteries with higher energy density. While the MIIT filing doesn’t mention range, every spec and the name point to Model 3+ being geared toward achieving a longer range.
