
Arizonans catch SpaceX rocket in night sky after launch

Arizonans got quite the show in the night sky on Friday night thanks to SpaceX. A SpaceX Falcon 9 launched from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in Southern California just before 9 p.m. and people all over the southwest saw the comet-like trail the rocket had. Even though the sun set just after 7:30 p.m., the rocket’s exhaust plume was still illuminated in the night sky.

|A man and a woman are dead after crashing into a wall in Apache Junction on Saturday. Around 1 a.m., officers responded to a single-vehicle crash near Idaho Road and 16th Avenue. When they arrived, they found a pickup truck had crashed into a wall in the neighborhood.
