SpaceX’s Starlink Satellites Launch
It is another historic approach for SpaceX, as it has planned to eject 400 Starlink satellites by the end of 2025. Moreover, Starlink Services, LLC, is an international telecom operator that is a part of SpaceX, which manufactures the Starlink Satellites. It provides internet services all over the world through its satellite internet constellation, remarkable to say the least. As per the current scenario, it has launched more than 7,800 satellites, which are orbiting around the Earth.
Moreover, the company has expressed its plans to expand its network through the satellites in a post on July 14. This step is taken to strategize the connection with the Alaskan customers and high-altitude locations, which are out of bounds. Furthermore, as per the reports, the company has to launch at least sixteen rockets, each carrying 24 satellites within it. This way, they can achieve their goal to inject 400 satellites into the polar orbit of the Earth to increase their network.
SpaceX’s next plans with the Falcon 9 Rocket
SpaceX successfully deployed a rocket with a polar inclination of the Earth on July 18. Moreover, the company is set to implement another mission with its Falcon 9 rocket on July 21. According to News6, the rocket will be deployed at Florida’s Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The Cape Canaveral Space Force is located in the Space Launch Complex 40, which is based in Florida. Moreover, this mission will be implemented by using the O3b Power Satellites, which are a component of the O3b Networks. Moreover, this is a popular communication networking company based in Luxembourg.
After the successful launch of the Falcon 9 on July 21, it is expected to collaborate with NASA’s ongoing mission. Moreover, TRACERS is a compressed form of the real name of the mission, Tandem Reconnection and Cusp Electrodynamics Reconnaissance Satellites. Their main role is to study the interactive nature of the solar particles with the Earth’s magnetic field, which will prove beneficial for research. Apart from TRACERS, NASA is working on three more projects, which hold vital significance in research and development.
Keeping the NASA projects aside for a while, SpaceX has scheduled numerous dates in July for the launch of its Falcon 9 rockets. Moreover, its next mission after Monday will be observed on July 24 at the same location as on July 21. Additionally, the next launches are scheduled on July 25 and July 30 at Vandenberg Space Force Base. SpaceX is working on many projects, which are on the launch list for 2025. One of the other projects is the Crew-11 Mission, which is scheduled for a launch on July 30. Thus, it is safe to say that this month can be called ‘SpaceX’s month’ due to its continuous launches.
SpaceX’s Connectivity to Alaska and no-connectivity regions
As mentioned above, SpaceX’s mission to deploy 400 satellites into the polar orbit of the Earth has a deeper significance. Moreover, it aims to establish connectivity to the regions that are way beyond the reach of satellite connections. It has already launched many of these satellites into the Earth’s lower orbit, establishing a minute connection with the Alaskans. On May 27, the first series of this mission, Starlink 17-1, was deployed to implement the first connection with its target population. Moreover, this mission has also used the B1082 rocket to deploy the Starlink Satellites into Earth’s lower orbit.
Conclusion
Therefore, we can conclude that SpaceX’s present mission focuses on the West Coast, which is apparently out of the network connectivity. It is interesting to watch the company working to connect with the left-out network areas, such as Alaska. These areas are mostly at a high altitude, which makes it difficult for the satellites to gain signals.
