SpaceX announced that it will send up the satellites in its well-known Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 5:12 p.m. ET.
The two-hour window opens at 5:12 p.m. ET. SpaceX can only launch during that time frame.
However, the 45th Weather Squadron is giving a 50% chance of favorable launch weather.
“… seasonal moisture to return to the area and may help develop afternoon/evening showers and thunderstorms near the area during the primary launch window. Some storms may be strong enough to produce wind gusts of 40-50 mph,” stated the squadron.
The main concerns against the launch are: Anvil cloud, cumulus cloud and surface electric field rules.
If the launch is scrubbed, the next attempt will be Tuesday at the same time. However, the squadron is giving a 25% chance of favorable launch conditions on that day.
