CAMP HILL, Pa. — A Cumberland County man is facing two misdemeanor charges after authorities say he was caught placing obscene stickers on a Tesla Cybertruck earlier this year.
Ronald Melusky, 45, of New Cumberland, was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct following an investigation of the alleged incident by Lower Allen Township Police.
The victim told police that he parked the vehicle outside a Camp Hill restaurant on the 3400 block of Hartzdale Drive at about 8 p.m. on April 17. While he was inside, he reported, the truck's security system recorded footage of a man, later identified as Melusky, putting stickers on the vehicle, causing damage to the custom wrap the victim had installed on it.
The stickers, which reportedly said "I love Nazi" and "Ask Me About Me Microscopic Penis," caused an estimated $3,710 worth of damage, according to police.
The Cybertruck video also recorded the suspect entering his vehicle, which investigators were able to trace to Melusky by searching its registration, police said.
The Cybertruck and Tesla dealerships have become prominent targets
for protest and vandalism since the company CEO, Elon Musk, took a prominent role with President Donald Trump's administration. Musk has since stepped aside and recently began feuding with the president over his criticism of the "Big, Beautiful Bill," the passage of which is being debated in the U.S. Senate after being approved by the House.
Melusky was issued the criminal charges by summons, according to police.
He is awaiting a preliminary hearing on June 9.
