Starlink is SpaceX's huge constellation of broadband satellites. The company has already launched more than 2,700 Starlink spacecraft to low Earth orbit, and many more will likely get there in the near future: SpaceX has permission to launch 12,000 Starlink satellites, and it has applied for approval to loft up to 30,000 more on top of that. SpaceX has now launched 28 orbital missions in 2022, 16 of which have been dedicated Starlink flights. In addition, today marked the 50th Starlink launch and the 100th Falcon 9 reflight, according to SpaceX.
