In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Tesla CEO said that in-car gaming during Full Self-Driving (FSD) mode could become a reality in a few months, but only if it clears local regulations. “Probably 3 to 6 months, depending on regulatory approval in your city and state,” Musk wrote in a reply to a fan. This feature would only be available in regions where Tesla’s autonomous driving system is fully approved. Article continues after ad While the current FSD requires driver supervision, Musk’s comments suggest the company is targeting full autonomy, and regulators will have the final say. Tesla cars to have gaming support It’s the latest step in Tesla’s push to turn its vehicles into entertainment hubs. Past updates added support for video streaming apps, and some earlier Model S and X vehicles even allowed users to play Steam games directly from the dashboard.
