CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX on Thursday pushed back the launch of another batch of Amazon satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
The launch was set for 10:17 a.m. with a back-up opportunity on Friday with a 25-minute launch window at 9:40 a.m. However, SpaceX announced around 10 a.m. it would stand down from the launch to perform “additional vehicle checkouts.”
This latest batch is part of Amazon’s Project Kuiper.
When the launch happens, this will be the first flight for the Falcon 9 first stage booster supporting this mission. After stage separation, the first stage will land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
